Cigar News: Nat Sherman Partners With Knickerbocker

Yesterday Nat Sherman Int. announced it’s partnership with The Knickerbocker Hotel in New York City to feature a rooftop cigar lounge.  The lounge will feature breathtaking views of Times Square that can be enjoyed by guest while smoking Nat Sherman’s finest cigars that will be offered at the lounge.  The lounge will also feature cocktails and culinary masterpieces from Chef Charlie Palmer who is pictured to the left below with Nat Sherman VP of Retail and Brand development Michael Herklots in the middle and Knickerbocker Hotel manager Jeff David on the right.

Michael Herklots had this to say to The Cigar Nut about the partnership and the NYC smoking ban:

“It’s a perfect partnership. Two iconic New York experiences, plus Charlie Palmer. Really a dream come true. The outdoor area is within the exemption of the smoking ban- but also means it’ll be somewhat seasonal.”

The lounge is expected to open in the fall.  The Knickerbocker Hotel was originally built in 1906 but has undergone a recent $115 million renovation and will feature 330 guest rooms.  The hotel is classic NYC and brings the same classic charm and class that Nat Sherman does as well.

Nat Sherman released the Epoca at the recent IPCPR, the line features a 48×7″ vitola named the Knickerbocker.  Coincidence?
